They wanted to release a movie about Gambit, the famous mutant and card-playing fan, back in 2009. Channing Tatum was chosen to play the main role. But the directors changed, the script was rewritten, the shooting was delayed, and eventually the film was cancelled. But fans still dreamed of seeing Tatum in the role of Gambit. In Deadpool and Wolverine, their dream came true.
It’s funny that Gambit periodically mutters something in French. In our dub, Deadpool comments on this: “Did they voice you in RHS?”

Deadpools Army
The film features some of the craziest versions of Deadpool. Most notable are Cowboy Deadpool voiced by Matthew McConaughey, Headpool voiced by Nathan Fillion, and Lady Deadpool played by Blake Lively. Many will also remember Dogpool and Baby Deadpool, they are adorable.

One of the most interesting Deadpools is Nicepool. This cute character doesn’t wear a mask and constantly talks about his beauty. It’s funny that he appears signed in the credits as Gordon Reynolds. Could this be Ryan’s secret brother? No, in fact, Gordon is just Ryan’s alter ego.
