Date: March 28, 2024 Time: 15:26:50

Today, Andrey Talalaev and Moscow “Torpedo” terminated the contract by mutual agreement of the parties. We decided to remember how many teams Talalaev coached in his career.

The list is impressive, especially if you take into account the youth teams.

Talalaev began his career, as expected, from his native school, native club – SDUSHOR “Torpedo-ZIL”. The young specialist worked with footballers born in 1988 and 1993. Andrei worked there for four years – from 1999 to 2003.

2004 spartak

He got his first professional club experience at Spartak. In 2004, Nevio Scala invited Andrey to its headquarters as a trainer-translator. Talalaev played in Italy, learned Italian, for which Skala drew attention to him. Doesn’t it remind you of anything? José Mourinho started out as a translator at Barcelona.

2005 – 2010 years. Russia junior and junior national teams

He began his freelance work in 2005 with the Russian youth team, born in 1990.

Alan Dzagoev played for her. She worked with this team until 2010. Together with the boys, she moved to the junior team (under 20). In December 2010 she stepped down from her position.

Rostov 2011

In January 2011, he led the Rostov youth team. From June 20 to August 1, he was the acting head coach of Rostov. In August 2011, he left the team – Yuri Krasnozhan was appointed head coach.

However, in 2012 he joined the Kuban coaching staff when Krasnozhan took over. But he only worked for six months.

2014-2016 “Volga” NN

The first great experience as head coach of the RPL club. In 2014, the team was relegated from the first division. But Talalaev worked in Nizhny for two more seasons in the FNL championship – 13th and 10th places. After that the club ceased to exist.

2016-2016 “Tambov”

In September 2016, Talalaev headed Tambov. At that time, after 11 rounds, the team was ranked 17th in the FNL. However, over the next 27 games, Tambov scored 47 points and finished fifth. In the 2017/18 season, the team took fourth place, but lost to Amkar in the play-offs for the right to play in the RPL. After that, the head coach left the club.

2018-2020 Pyunik, Khimki

In June 2018, Talalaev went abroad, to the Armenian Pyunik. In qualifying for the 2018/19 Europa League, the team went through two rounds (eliminating Vardar and Tobol) and lost in the third (Maccabi Tel Aviv). In December, in the Armenian Championship match, Talalaev insulted the fourth official and was sent off, and on December 6, he was disqualified until May 31, 2019.

After Pyunik filed an appeal, the disqualification period was reduced to March 31. At the end of December, the Russian specialist was recognized as the coach of the year in Armenia. But on April 9, 2019, he unexpectedly left the club “for family reasons”, and upon arrival in Moscow, the next day he went to Khimki.

The team played in the FNL, scored 50 points and placed third. Talalaev did not complete the season, he went on his own. Reason: the club’s development vector was changed, the emphasis was placed on youth, and the task of entering the RPL did not remain.

2020 “Wings of the Soviets”

In 2020, he replaced Miodrag Bozhovich as the head coach of Samara Krylia Sovetov 6 rounds before the end of the championship. The team placed last in the RPL. The contract was signed for two years.

Talalaev could not save Wings of the Soviets from relegation – 15th place. After that, the head coach informed the management that he was leaving the club. The Wings press service announced this on July 25.

2020-2022 “Akhmat”

And on July 26, 2020, Talalaev already led Grozny Akhmat, having signed a contract for three years. On September 11, 2022, the Akhmat press service announced the dismissal of the head coach.

2022-2023 “Torpedo”

Since October 13, 2022, Talalaev has led the Moscow Torpedo. Under his leadership, the team played 12 games, winning one, losing eight times and drawing three times. At the moment, “Torpedo” occupies the last 16th place in the rating. On March 22, 2023, the club and the head coach terminated the contract by mutual agreement of the parties.
