In total, each team will have to cover 42.195 km, the distance of a classic marathon. The first stage (men) is 11.45 km, the second stage (women) is 10 km, the third stage (men) is 10 km, the fourth stage (women) is 10.745 km. The competition takes place on the same kilometer circle where the 20 km races were held.
