The Slovenian Ski Association said Beijing Olympic champion Peter Prevc was conscious and speaking as part of the mixed team, Slovenian media reported.
Prevc was injured while training for the Ski World Championships in Planica. During the springboard separation, he made a mistake, fell and crashed into the base of it. The athlete required hospitalization. He is currently being tested.
Prevc won the overall World Cup and became the world champion in 2016. He also has four Olympic medals, including gold from Beijing.
