Two winners and four runners-up of the contest will be determined today.
Today, August 7, another day of competition will take place at the Paris Olympic Games. As part of the boxing tournament, six fights will take place, where the next finalists and winners of the competition will be determined.
The top favourite for the Games and 2020 Olympic champion Bakhodir Jalolov will compete to reach the final with a German of Cameroonian origin Nelvi Tiafakom. Also one step away from the end is Lin Yutingone of the female boxers who was allowed to compete in the Olympics despite failing the gender test.
Two finals will be contested on that day. In the decisive match in the weight category up to 63.5 kg, two men will compete Sofia Umia AND Erislandy Alvarez Borges. Gold will be contested in the up to 80 kg division Oral Bay of Nürbek AND Alexander Khiznyak.

Boxing match schedule for the 2024 Olympics August 7
The first fight of the evening will take place at 22:30. The first to enter the ring will be Lin Yuting and Ezra Yildiz Kahraman. The evening’s programme will be closed by the finalists in the men’s up to 80 kg category – Alexander Khizhnyak and Nurbek Oralbay. Their battle will start at approximately 23:50.
