Today, September 20, in Vítiazevo (Krasnodar Territory) the superfinal of the XV international festival “Big stars shine on small ones” ended between the men’s teams born in 2014 and the women’s teams born in 2013. In 2023 they will attend the festival 64 teams.
The geography of the participants was striking: from Kaliningrad to Ussuriysk (Primorsky Territory). They played for the main prizes of the final tournament organized by the Viktor Gorlov children’s football league. On the last day of the competition, the final matches between the men’s teams were played at the Pontos stadium. In the decisive match Moscow’s Chertanovo defeated the Champion (Navashino) 2-1. The bronze medal went to Krasnodar, who beat Rotor Volgograd in the bronze final (2-1).
Four teams competed for the girls’ festival championship title. Chertanovo again celebrated the victory in the tournament. In second place was the Zvezda-2005 Academy (Perm), in third place was Chertanovo-2014, and the Samara SSHOR No. 1 team closed the top four.
Immediately after the matches, the Superfinal awards ceremony took place. The awards were presented to the footballers and footballers by the President of the DFL, Maria Zharkova, as well as the director of the DFL – Anapa Center, Nazim Zekiryaev. All four teams received cups and medals. The best players of each team were also recognized.
