Prediction for the fight between Anthony Joshua and Daniel Dubois
Russian heavyweight Sergei Kuzmin has spoken out about the upcoming title fight between Britons Anthony Joshua and Daniel Dubois.
“Dubois, of course, has a chance, but it is minimal. Joshua is much more experienced and has more interesting fights on his record. Joshua was a champion. I think Anthony will emerge victorious and Joshua will win earlier than expected, sometime before the sixth round,” Kuzmin said in a conversation with “Championship” correspondent Alexander Frolov.
Joe Joyce, a 38-year-old English professional boxer who competes in the heavyweight category and a member of the Order of the British Empire, also gave his prediction.
“There are too many different factors that can have an impact on their fight. To be honest, I’m excited. I can’t even say who will be the first to strike and attack. They’ve come a long way. So I’ll be intrigued to see who wins.”
“A lot depends on Joshua’s actions here too. Will he constantly punch and move? Will Dubois close the distance? Or will their fight be a flash fight? Both have excellent trainers for a beautiful fight. Dubois is younger and probably faster. Jousha is experienced and will perhaps hit harder. May the best man win,” Joyce said.
