CSKA narrowed the gap in the series with Metallurg in the Gagarin Cup final

Metallurg Magnitogorsk lost at home to CSKA in the fifth game of the Continental Hockey League (KHL) playoff final series.

The match, held on Tuesday in Magnitogorsk, ended in extra time with a score of 3:2 (0:0, 1:0, 1:2, 1:0) in favor of the guests.

CSKA was scored by Konstantin Okulov (36th minute), Maxim Sorkin (54) and Claes Dahlbeck (74), Maxim Karpov (41) and Egor Korobkin (48) scored against Magnitogorsk.

Okulov’s puck broke the record for the “dry” streak held by Magnitogorsk goalkeeper Vasily Koshechkin in the Gagarin Cup final, who kept his goal intact for more than two and a half games in a row: 156 minutes and 34 seconds.
