The Carolina Hurricanes’ Russian defender, Dmitry Orlov, arrived for the first time at training with his new club.
Recall that Orlov started the previous season in the Washington Capitals, for which he played 11 years, but before the start of the Stanley Cup playoffs, the Capitals transferred the Russian to the Boston Bruins, where he became one of the most productive.
On July 1, Orlov entered the unrestricted free agent market, after which he signed a contract with the Carolinas.
