Dynamo had a successful trip to Samara and picked up another three points in the Premier League. This time it was to Akron.
Skopintsev and Fomin, who had been suspended earlier, returned to the Dynamo base, but Laxalt (who replaced Chavez in the 62nd minute) and Carrascal (who replaced Gladyshev in the 75th minute) remained on the reserve team. The Togliatti players were in for an unpleasant surprise. They had previously shown excellent attacking football, so the match was expected to be extremely competitive. In addition, the blue-and-white team still has the completely inexperienced 19-year-old Maistorovich-Lepsky duo in the centre of defence. But Lunev was frankly bored. He first became tense only in the 27th minute, when Bakaev shot dangerously into the near corner.
Meanwhile, Dynamo twice fell en masse on the opponent’s goal and miraculously did not score again: Volkov deflected Bitello and Gladyshev’s shots. Yaroslav’s pass to the left to Ngamalyo – there would be a goal. It’s just that Yaroslav was already looking down and was aiming to hit himself.

Sergei also saved from Skopintsev’s attempt after a play from the corner of the field. Akron was lucky to concede only one goal in the first half. In the second half of the match, Dynamo’s roar and Volkov’s saves continued. And if the goalkeeper could not react, the post came to the rescue – Gladyshev hit it. In the 57th minute, the frame no longer helped him – Fomin passed the ball to the right to Yaroslav, and he skillfully placed the ball into the far bottom corner.

Akron were not going to give up and almost deserved a penalty: the ball hit Skopintsev’s hand, but he was offside before that. The VAR confirmed it. Bad luck. But luck smiled on Bitello when he turned and crashed into the crossbar. Overall, they were left to their own devices.
The Togliatti team was active and once caught Dynamo under pressure: Loncar blocked Lunev’s pass to the defender in a challenge, and Dmitriev missed in the far corner. But there is nothing else to highlight.
Already at the beginning of last season, the Muscovites were suffering from a shortage of players. Back then, this often led to unnecessary points losses. Now in the RPL they are making the most of it. In any case, one should not fool oneself: in order to remain stable in the long term, the team urgently needs transfers. And not only in attack, where the Moroccan Mauhoub will soon arrive.
