Lokomotiv suffered their first loss of the RPL season. The derby with CSKA unexpectedly ended in defeat for Mikhail Galaktionov’s team.
A curious detail of the match between CSKA and Lokomotiv was the confrontation between the top scorers at the beginning of the RPL season: striker Chalov and… defender Tiknizyan. However, in the derby, Nair, at the behest of the manager, changed position and played as a left midfielder. Mitai took his place in defense. Galaktionov obviously made these changes to better control the width against the army’s 3-4-2-1 formation. So that the right winger Pinyaev did not fall too often in his own box, the versatile Tiknizyan had to sit fifth in the defense line.
CSKA entered the game very hard and adapted to the rival. The army team seemed emotionless for the derby after the super-emotional match with Akhmat. With the score 0:0, Lokomotiv was better, creating several scoring chances. How Dziuba did not score into an empty net, finishing off the ball, defeated by Akinfeev in front of him, is incomprehensible to the mind! Artyom is still unknown: either he is not in top shape due to injuries, or he is no longer “hungry” for spring. After these changes, Lokomotiv cheered up, they scored thanks to a rigged corner: Ryadno lost air to Pogostnov.
But the young Ryadno quickly corrected himself for the mistake: three minutes later he took part in a new CSKA scoring attack. Loko conceded very simple goals. After Chalov’s switch to the sideline and a cross, Ryadno scored on Mukhin, who steeled himself. Mitai lost the fight against him. Using ex-rail player Mukhin as an informant seemed like a controversial idea, but it works!
Everything was decided, and in the last minutes Fedotov released the Argentine Gaich and the young talent from CSKA Arbuzov. It is a pity that the 19-year-old hero of the recent cup match with Orenburg has so little time in the RPL so far. It’s very nice to watch Yaroslav’s game.
