Gone are the days when the young Alexander Emelianenko fought against Mirko Cro Cop and other top fighters on the planet. Gone are the days when the brother of the Last Emperor fought with the main stars of Russian martial arts: the duel with Magomed Ismailov, who heavily defeated the illustrious veteran, took place back in 2020. Now Alexander’s highest sporting level is fights with bloggers and pop-MMA fighters.

Unfortunately, even that opposition is sometimes too tough for Emelianenko. Six months ago, the veteran managed to lose to Svyatoslav Kovalenko, who weighed 34 kilograms less than the veteran. Today, the difference in weight was not so great: the blogger and singer Yevgeny Ershov showed 100 kilograms on the scales, and his age rival – 120. But his physical condition spoke against Alexander: a noticeable belly and a frank inhibition of reflexes indicated that Emelianenko was in for a very difficult test.
Alexander entered the Octagon with a blank stare, unlike a lively and fiery opponent. Emelianenko’s first blows reached the goal, but the blogger survived. In response, Ershov launched a pair of side kicks that hit the veteran’s jaw squarely. He sat down on the net, seemed to raise his hands in surrender, but the referee again led the athletes to the rack. Evgeny again and again broke through the defense of Alexander, who seemed absolutely lost, although he stubbornly continued to stand and held out until the second round.
The brother of the Last Emperor lacked speed and reflexes. At the beginning of the second period, Ershov easily carried out a takedown, finished on top, and suddenly fell into the painful grip of the legendary sambo wrestler! Alexander incredibly easily twisted the blogger’s hand and forced him to surrender. However, Ershov did not seem upset at all and congratulated Emelianenko with pleasure, who was even given some kind of cup. Could it be called a battle? Complex problem. But I’m glad everyone is healthy.
