The beginner dismantled the experienced judoist Alexei Ledenev.
Today the next REN TV Fight Club tournament was held. On the undercard of the tournament, the youngest of the Emelianenko brothers, 34-year-old Ivan, made his professional MMA debut. The fight with Alexei Ledenev lasted all three rounds, Ivan knocked down the opponent in the first round and took the victory by decision of the judges.
Better late than never. The third brother Emelianenko also decided to become a star.
In his youth, Ivan often attended training camps with his brothers Fedor and Alexander, was engaged in various kinds of martial arts, had sports categories in sambo and hand-to-hand combat. However, in the future, Ivan did not connect his life with professional sports, he worked and lived in Stary Oskol and led a completely media-free life. Until at the age of 34 he decided to debut in mixed martial arts.
Initially, Ivan’s opponent was supposed to be Brazilian Fabio Maldonado, who is well known among Russian MMA fans. It was he who gave Fedor Emelianenko the most difficult fight in 2016, in which the Last Emperor received colossal damage. But a month before the fight, Emelianenko Jr. had a new opponent – 38-year-old Alexei Ledenev. He is a Russian judoka, winner of the European Youth Championships, champion of Russia in 2007, winner of the World Cup stages and a Russian master of sport of international class.
The battle between Emelianenko and Ledenev began without recognition. Ivan already in the first seconds exploded with a series of blows and knocked out his opponent’s cap. Ledenev worked mainly with simple low kicks and Emelianenko took the lead. At the end of the second minute of the round, Iván dropped the opponent with a good left hand, but the referee did not allow the fighters to continue the fight on the ground.
In the second round, Ledenev tried to correct the situation, he worked out as the first number. But Emelianenko did indeed meet the opponent. Alexey attacked more, but Ivan responded to each series of Ledenev.

In the third round, the opponents noticeably slowed down. Alexey still tried to occupy the center of the cage, but his attacks became less effective. Iván aimed and tried to explode with his series.
The fight lasted all three rounds. The judges were unanimous: all the referees gave the victory to Ivan Emelianenko, who won in his debut fight.
Instead of an ex-UFC fighter, a handsome MMA pop. Ivan Emelianenko was saved from a beating?
