Manchester United captain Bruno Fernandes spoke ahead of the derby against Manchester City on matchday 20 of the Premier League.
According to the Portuguese, the team has changed a lot lately, however, this applies not only to the game, but also to the psychological component.
“We have stopped being afraid of our opponent,” said the midfielder in an interview with the British media.
Manchester City are one of the best clubs in the league, but the most important thing is to believe in yourself. Perhaps now Manchester United has become a team whose game convinces the fans and players that this team can win,” Fernandes concluded.
Manchester United will host City on January 14. The match will take place at Old Trafford Stadium and will kick off at 3:30 p.m. Moscow time, and Stuart Atwell (Nunathon, Warwickshire, England) will be the main referee for the derby.
