The Italian team has announced the name of the new coach. It turned out to be the specialist Luciano Spalletti, 64 years old.
According to the national team’s press service, the new mentor will begin his duties on September 1, 2023. Thus, Spalletti was replaced at the helm of the Italian team by Roberto Mancini.
Last season, Luciano Spalletti, known in Russia for his work at Zenit, coached Napoli and led the team to the championship. Before this, the Neapolitans had not been able to win the title since 1990.
According to the press, the specialist left the team due to a conflict with the club’s president, Aurelio De Laurentiis.
