The fun begins at the 2024 Futsal World Championship in Uzbekistan. From October 2 to 6, four final matches will be played in Tashkent: two semi-finals, a match for third place and the final.

The Brazilians have won the World Championship five times in their history, but they are waiting for a sixth trophy, because their opponents have not allowed them to take first place since 2012. At the tournament in Uzbekistan, the representatives of South America have not yet found a worthy resistance. Only the Moroccan team was a tough nut to crack, but in the rest of the matches Brazil suffered defeats.

Ukrainians at the World Championships in Uzbekistan have already achieved their best result at the highest level in the 21st century. They did the same in 1996, when they finished in fourth place. In 2024, his position in the top quartet is already guaranteed. Will there be first medals?

Argentina. Chasing a second title
On the other side of the draw, Argentina, 2016 world champions, aspire to the final. Fans of the Russian national team probably remember the heartbreaking final of the tournament in Colombia. In 2021, the Argentines themselves were one step away from the trophy (they lost 1-2 to Portugal). But the stability of the Albiceleste in recent years has been truly impressive. By all indications, they should confidently beat France and reach their third consecutive final.

Argentina, like Brazil, does not know defeat in Uzbekistan, but performs without brilliance. The defense is sometimes weak and it is not always possible to score a lot: the Afghans were defeated with difficulty 2:1, the Croatians also 2:0. However, as long as pragmatic football produces results, it is impossible to condemn it.
France. Success with a punch
The French will compete in their first futsal World Cup in 2024 and immediately reached the semi-finals! It seems that a debut like this could be envied, but no. Futsal fans will remember for many years the scandal that broke out in the last match of the group stage, which France apparently lost on purpose to qualify for the easy part of the bracket.
