Italian specialist Gennaro Gattuso has left the post of head coach of the Spanish “Valencia”.
FC Valencia announces that this Monday, January 30, the club and the first team coach Gennaro Gattuso mutually agreed to terminate the contractual relationship that linked the Italian coach to the team.
The club wants to thank the coach for his commitment and work during these months as coach and wish him the best of luck in his future. The team will return to training on Tuesday, January 31, under the direction of Foro González.
Let’s remember that after 18 games, Valencia is 14th in the LaLiga standings with 20 points. The team is separated from the relegation zone by one point. In addition, the ‘bats’ flew out of the Spanish Cup, missing Athletic Bilbao in the semifinals.
