What was on the video: why did Masha run away?
The main intrigue of the entire series was a mysterious video, after watching which the bride Masha constantly ran away. The groom Vitya throughout the series found out what she did on September 2 (the day before the wedding at the bachelor party), even managing to reconcile the bandit Utes and his beloved.
However, the mysterious video turned out to be a drunken confession of Vitya: it says: “Dear Maya, hello, I want to tell you a secret: I love you very much.” Maya is the hero’s ex, who constantly sent videos to his fiancée.

However, it immediately becomes clear that Maya actually cut out an important part of the video, because we are immediately shown footage of this drunken confession, where Vitya says: “Masha, dear…” He recorded this video for Masha, but accidentally sent it to Maya, and “mine” can also be heard as “Maya”.
As a result, Masha finally does not run away anywhere, and the heroes continue to happily celebrate their wedding and September 4 finally arrives.

What happened at the bachelor party on September 2?
Nothing special. The guys got drunk in one bar and then went to another, where they met a group of girls; one of them turned out to be the girlfriend of a local bandit. She was offended that after 10 years of dating he still didn’t want to marry her. As a result, they decide to steal his yacht, where they hang out and film a provocative video for Utes.
After this, Vitya records a video for Masha, but, having accidentally sent it to Maya in a drunken delirium, he tries to cancel the sending and eventually throws the phone into the water. Realizing that this will not help, he jumps into the water after him. Immediately after him, his friends jump in. This is how the series begins when they wake up on the shore.

The singer of the famous song “On the Third of September” Mikhail Shufutinsky appears several times in the series. When he sees that the heroes have realized all their mistakes (they decided to admit everything and not come up with various excuses), he lets them go, giving them the opportunity to move on with their lives.
