“All last year I drank constantly, mainly beer, I ate everything with shawarma. He led a “get up, get drunk, and fall asleep” lifestyle. It had a huge impact on mental health. At first I didn’t realize it, but then depression after alcohol poisoning was with me for a long time.”

I can’t say that I became an alcoholic, but at that point I was really hooked “to a degree”. During this time, a lot of unpleasant things happened to me, which later made themselves felt.

At some point, I packed my things and went to Kaliningrad, lived there alone and worked as a waiter in the city center; I went to work every morning for 40 minutes and was on my feet for 12 hours. Lack of money and hunger made me lose weight because fat was converted into energy. I was sitting in doshirakah for a month and a half. I can’t say it’s great, but it happened.

In February 2022 I regained 20 kg and in December 2022 I fully regained my shape and became athletic. If I did the body in about a year, then it was more difficult with mental health. When I started to lose weight, the first thing I did was level my diet: I ate almost everything the same, but in less quantity. Since training, I ran at a slow pace at first, but for a long time. Then he began to close the distance and run in jerks. Now I can run long, strong and fast. I also bought a horizontal bar for home; at first I got up three times and after a month and a half I increased the number to ten.

I started eating a lot of boiled and steamed food; I ordered home delivery, which was quite expensive. I ate a lot of vegetables and fruits and little by little I began to replace them with French fries. I ended up starting to cook for myself. Within three months, her diet was back to normal.

The main thing is sports in the gym and at home. At home, you can spend 40 minutes a day on this, for example, one day do exercises for the press, then for the arms, and on the third day only cardio. I ran 2 km every day.

When I started working out seriously and regularly, it took me two months to get in shape. But first it is important to take care of the psychological state, and then start playing sports and monitoring nutrition.

Drinking beer regularly and in large quantities can lead to the accumulation of excess weight. An alcoholic drink contains a lot of calories. On average, a bottle has between 150 and 200 kcal.

Beer can slow down the body’s metabolism, resulting in a slower rate of burning calories. The product also contains phytoestrogens, which affect the body’s hormonal balance and contribute to the accumulation of fat in certain areas, most often the abdomen.

Why are low-alcohol drinks dangerous?

Firstly, they have a conditionally low alcohol content, secondly, they mainly affect the liver and heart, and thirdly, with constant use, alcoholism from beer can begin; this is not a joke, but a reality, and there will also be blows to the entire system of the gastrointestinal tract.

This drinking addiction happens extremely fast; this type of alcoholism is much more difficult than vodka, since it is more difficult to fight it. You can’t drink beer every day.

Beer has been proven to cause coronary heart disease, diabetes, gallstones, and generally negatively affects the functioning of the nervous and cardiovascular systems.

As for shawarma, like hamburgers, it is a high-calorie product. The composition contains bread, usually various sauces and fatty meats. All this leads to the fact that one serving of a dish can contain 600-800 calories or even more.

Frequent consumption of shawarma can lead to the formation of incorrect eating habits, the main of which is the choice of a diet in favor of fast food and high-calorie foods. This can cause you to overeat and gain weight.
