The president of the International Football Federation (FIFA), Gianni Infantino, commented on the death of the famous Italian striker and coach Gianluca Vialli.
“Football has lost one of its most beautiful and contagious positive smiles: Gianluca Vialli’s smile. The smile of a man who played and trained. The smile of a man who has achieved success and thus, to his joy, helped to change and develop clubs, as in his time at Sampdoria. He kept his smile despite his illness during his last job with the Italian team. Vialli was a great football player and an intelligent person,” the official FIFA website quoted Infantino as saying.
