“Is human”. Players from France and Chile paid tribute to the victims of the Crocus terrorist attack

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Kremlin appreciated the players’ action.
While Georgia celebrates its entry into the Euro Cup and other teams compete for the last tickets to Germany, the best teams play friendly matches. One of them took place in Marseille. Before the match, both the French and Chilean footballers (as well as the referees) honored the memory of the victims of the terrible Crocus tragedy with a minute of silence.
The act, of course, was noticed in Russia. First of all, the official representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, Maria Zakharova, spoke specifically about the “Championship”: “A minute of silence in memory of the victims of the terrorist attack in Crocus before the match between the national teams . of France and Chile is a human act.”
And then Dmitry Peskov, the Russian president’s press secretary, spoke.

France has often suffered terrorist attacks. The worst happened at the Bataclan concert hall in Paris in 2015. Then 130 people died.
