Former Spartak midfielder Evgeny Lovchev shared his opinion about future Zenit midfielder Zelimkhan Bakaev in the St. Petersburg team.
“It is clear that Zelimkhan is trying, trying very hard. But as he said before, that he has arrived at Zenit is his misfortune, I don’t see prospects in this team. He is still young, you have to play constantly, but I have the feeling that the coach does not see that he can become better than someone who plays constantly, ”the 74-year-old expert writes on his Telegram channel.
We add that Bakaev moved to Zenit in July 2022 as a free agent. Last season with Sergei Semak’s team he played 26 games, scored three goals and gave two assists. Previously, the midfielder played for Spartak. According to the Trsansfermarkt portal, his market value is two and a half million euros.
