Former UFC fighter Jorge Masvidal has said that popular Irish mixed martial arts fighter Conor McGregor has turned down a fight with him.
“The UFC guys tried to get me a fight with Conor, but he didn’t want to. McGregor never talked about me, but our fight would be the biggest possible. Do you really think Michael Chandler will sell more PPVs than me? No one in their right mind thinks like that. I’m a guy who has sold out PPV streams in the last five years. But even with that in mind, Conor won’t agree to fight me. It’s unlikely we’ll fight in the octagon in the future. Maybe just in the parking lot,” Masvidal was quoted by Bloody Elbow as saying.

“In the end, we managed to collect 1.3 million PPV buys. If I hadn’t signed a contract with UFC that guaranteed me a percentage of those buys, I wouldn’t have been paid anywhere near the $5 million I would have felt like I was being taken advantage of.
