Handball players “Sacks of Brest” defeated “SKA-Minsk” in the final match of the SEHA – Gazprom League tournament.
Note that the meeting between the teams, held in St. Petersburg, ended with a score of 32:31 in favor of Eduard Koksharov’s wards.
As part of the winning team, the most productive player was the lineal right winger Maxim Baranov, who scored nine goals. For the Minskers, welterweight right-hander Stanislav Shabelnikov (7) scored the most goals.
Thus, for the first time in its history, Meshkov Brest became the winner of the SEHA – Gazprom League Final Four.
The winner of the tournament’s bronze medals was previously determined. The third place was taken by the Chekhov Bears, who beat the Perm Bears (40:30).
