The promoter of Arthur’s next fight is sure that everything could have ended badly.
The end of July brought sad news for professional boxing fans: the fight between Artur Beterbiev and Callum Smith had to be postponed. The reason was the illness of the Russian, which led to the need for an urgent operation. Gradually, the situation begins to acquire new information. In particular, the promoter of the event, Camille Estefan, has already confirmed that the boxers will enter the ring no earlier than November. And in the most negative scenario, the fight will have to be postponed until next year.
Arthur himself firmly accepted the situation. He noted that it was the doctors who insisted on the operation, because they were very concerned about the athlete’s condition: “I did not want to put up with the upcoming fight to the end.
