“We haven’t talked yet. Of course I want to be part of this team, but it will all depend on how much I can help the club to achieve results. I have to earn this right, not just because I am Luka Modric. No matter how this story ends, Real Madrid is my favorite and main club in my career,” Modric was quoted as saying by the Spanish press.
Recall that Modric signed for Real Madrid in 2012. Since then, he has made 467 appearances for the Creamers, scoring 37 goals and providing 74 assists.
