Russian Sergey Pavlovich topped the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) heavyweight rankings, an updated version of which is posted on the organization’s website.
He removed the Frenchman Cyril Gan from the first row. Pavlovic’s last fight was in April in Las Vegas, defeating American Curtis Blaydes by first-round TKO. This victory was the sixth in a row for the Russian.
The organization’s champion in this weight class is American Jon Jones.
Russian Damir Ismagulov, who lost a unanimous decision to American Grant Dawson on July 2, has dropped two places and is now in line 14 of the lightweight rankings, whose champion is Russian Islam Makhachev.
