This raffle, thanks to which Andrey won a double match point, is a must-see! No one understood how the Russian managed to do it.
The match of the fourth round of Wimbledon with the participation of the Russian Andrei Rublev and the native of Gatchina Alexander Bublik, a militant in Kazakhstan, has become one of the brightest of the current tournament. Rublev pulled off a marathon five-setter at Wimbledon! Bagel didn’t save 39 aces
The last blow of the match was an ace made by Rublev. However, the penultimate draw was the most spectacular, thanks to which Andrey earned a double match point. The bagel responded well to the opponent’s blow, but the future winner by some miracle managed to get to the ball and, already falling, he sent the ball where it was needed! Seeing this, Alexander simply froze with his mouth open. Naturally, this moment simply could not be missing in the best moments of the match (see from minute 3:15):

“Probably the drop shot before double match point was the most successful of the entire game. I don’t know, it was luck, nothing more. I don’t think he can do it again,” Rublev said in an on-court interview.
Andrey also commented on the fact that he managed to interrupt Bublik’s comeback, who rallied from 0-2 in sets. “I don’t know how Sasha’s comeback stopped. I thought it didn’t matter. I lost the third set, the fourth set, and in each one I had chances, break points, but either he played well or I was tight. So I told myself that if he kept playing, he would at least have a chance. In the end he appeared, I took it well, he made a great draw and made a break, ”he added.
