Ekaterina Abramova, a player of the FRPV Moscow beach volleyball team, died on February 21 at the age of 18, according to the Telegram channel of the Russian Volleyball Federation (VVF).
It is reported that the athlete was in the same car with the bronze medalist of the Youth European Beach Volleyball Championship, Ivan Osipov.
On February 14, Ivan had an accident, after which he fell into a coma. The doctors could not save his life. Osipov was 20 years old.
