🏒 2:20 p.m.: Canada vs Latvia 2023 World Cup semifinals
Intrigue: Will Latvia continue to make history?
In the group stage, the Canadian team was so deadpan in the game in most matches that Raimo Summanen called it “the worst in 20 years.” The Finnish coach was cruelly mistaken – the “maple” held the quarterfinals with fantastic confidence and knocked out his native team. It seems that in the semi-finals, the Canadians are the absolute favourites: they won the group stage match 6-0. But don’t underestimate the dedication of Harijs Vītoliņš’s team and the energy of the Latvian fans, for whom the special flights to Tampere were launched.

🎾 4:00 p.m.*: Anna Blinkova (Russia) – Clara Burel (France) or Elina Svitolina (Ukraine, WC), Strasbourg (France), WTA-250 – final.
* Match times are subject to change.
Intrigue: how will Blinkova’s campaign for the second title end?
24-year-old Anna Blinkova is close to breaking into the top 50 for the first time in her career. To do this, the Russian woman must take the last step – to win the Strasbourg-2023 final. In October last year, Anna already won her first WTA title, in Romania. How will her campaign for a second title in France end?
⚽️ 4:30 p.m.: Borussia D vs Mainz 05, Bundesliga, Matchday 34
Mystery: Will Dortmund win the coveted title?
11 years – so many “Borussia” cannot become champions. Dortmund got their last title with Jurgen Klopp, but this season they have a unique opportunity. The Bayern superhegemon unexpectedly lost at home to RB Leipzig, after which the fate of the race was left in the hands of Borussia. Before the last round, Dortmund is in first place and two points ahead of the main competitor. Home stadium, unmotivated opponent (Mainz will definitely finish in the middle of the table): it seems that there are all the conditions for victory. It remains not to flinch at the crucial moment!

⚽️ 4:30 p.m.: Cologne – Bayern, Bundesliga, matchday 34
Intrigue: will Bayern manage to steal the championship from Borussia?
As we have already said, the fate of the race is in the hands of Dortmund. But nothing has been decided yet. If Borussia can’t cope with their nerves and lose, three points will give Bayern the 11th consecutive championship. Munich’s opponents are almost the same as the competitor’s: Cologne and Mainz are next to each other in the table. Bayern, unlike Borussia, will play away, but in the context of a super club, this seems to be a convention. The case when Munich will have to closely monitor the results of other people. Bayern haven’t been this close to finishing second in a long time!

🏎 17:00: Formula 1 Stage 7 – Monaco Grand Prix. Qualification
Intrigue: how will the new Mercedes perform and will Leclerc shine at home?
On Saturday it will host the most important Formula 1 classification of the season. It’s simple: overtaking in Monaco is almost impossible, so starting positions will largely determine the fate of Sunday’s race. This means that Red Bull’s competitors have a rare opportunity to wrest victory from him. Charles Leclerc is traditionally good at home, and his Ferrari has previously allowed him to take pole position from the bulls. We expect a lot from Fernando Alonso, who is aiming for the 33rd victory of his career. Finally, an updated version of the Mercedes car will debut in Monte Carlo. The Germans don’t overestimate expectations, but what if the new items take a big leap forward?

🏒 18:20: United States vs Germany Semifinals of the 2023 World Cup
Intrigue: will the Americans remove the “curse of the semifinals”?
The “Stars and Stripes” sent a wide variety of teams to the World Cup, studded with stars, packed with Akhaelians or students, young or old. However, since 1992, when the playoffs were returned to the World Cup, the Americans have never reached the main final. In the past seven years alone, Team USA has lost five semifinals, but now, for the first time, a non-top team will play against them. For the Germans, the final will be the first since the 1930s, and the young Bundestim, who looked dignified in every World Cup match, is also incredibly motivated.

⚽️ 18:45: Coventry City v Luton Town Championship Play-off final
Mystery: who will get the last ticket to the next Premier League season?
In this season’s Championship, the most exotic playoff final. Many expected Mildsbrough and Sunderland at Wembley, and in the end, Coventry and Luton, who have not been in the elite for many years, will fight for a place in the Premier League. The main part of the season was better spent by Luton, who took third place and jumped 10 points from finishing fifth at Coventry. But anything can happen in a match, so the level of intrigue in any case will be the highest. We expect a dramatic turn!

⚽️ 7:00 p.m.: Krasnodar – CSKA, RPL, matchday 29
Intrigue: Will CSKA be able to keep Spartak in second place?
One of the main events of the penultimate round of the RPL is the Russian Cup Superfinal trial. On June 11, CSKA and Krasnodar will meet in Luzhniki, but for now they have a chance to prove themselves in the championship. More points are needed than CSKA, who, after the derby defeat, are ahead of Spartak by just one point and risk losing second place in the event of a misfire. Krasnodar knocked out Rostov in front of their home fans in the last round and will be looking forward to doing the same with another team from the leading group.

⚽️ 8:00 p.m.: Sevilla – Real Madrid, Primera, matchday 37
Intrigue: Will “Real” lose second place?
Sevilla is having an incredible season. Until recently, the team, accustomed to playing in European competitions, struggled to survive, but in the spring they got fit and jumped to the middle of the table. And at the same time, he gave away his classic sprint and will play the Europa League final again. In the last two matches of Examples, Sevilla drew, but the match against Real Madrid (especially at home) is a special story. Madrid, on the other hand, managed to lose five times in 12 games and first withdrew from the championship race, and now risk running out of silver. Atlético is one point away!

⚽️ 21:45: Inter vs Atalanta, Serie A, Matchday 37
Intrigue: Will Inter make a hole in the top 4 or will Atalanta be able to make the leap to the Champions League?
Inter, although they reached the Champions League final, their participation in the draw for the next tournament was not yet guaranteed. But a home win over Atalanta will quickly solve this problem. But there is a nuance: the rival also hopes to make the jump to the main European Cup and for this they must win, hoping for a failure by Milan. In the previous round, Inter, after a five-game winning streak, made life a bit more difficult by losing to Napoli. “Atalanta” scored three points a week ago, and before that “burned” “Juventus” and, suddenly, “Salernitana”.

⚽️ 22:00: Strasbourg – PSG Ligue 1 Matchday 37
Intrigue: will PSG still become champions ahead of schedule?
The Parisians this time delayed the celebrations. Christophe Galtier’s team could have celebrated the title a week ago, but everything was ruined by Lens, who won their game and thus maintained a mathematically recovered six-point difference. Now the only question is how PSG will play – one point is enough for the championship. The only thing the Parisians can regret is that they failed to take the title at home. On the road, it’s not so nice to do it.
