NBA, where they lost to the Golden State Warriors. Spoelstra is an excellent strategist who knows how to adapt to his opponent during games. Can the Heat handle the Celtics’ all-star attack?

🏒 20:20: Switzerland vs Slovakia World Cup 2023 Group B
Mystery: Will Switzerland repeat its 1939 record?
The success of the Swiss should not be surprising. Patrick Fischer brought an experienced and very powerful roster to the tournament, which is still waiting for stellar reinforcements. They won the first three matches, top their group and remain the only team in the tournament to never concede.
If this continues against Slovakia, the Crusaders will repeat their record of 84 years of consecutive shutouts. One nuance is that the Slovaks are already rivals in a category above Slovenia, Norway and Kazakhstan, and have scored in every game in this tournament so far.

⚽️ 9:30 p.m.: Newcastle United – Brighton & Hove Albion, Premier League, Matchday 25
Intrigue: Will Newcastle come close to their first Champions League qualification in 20 years?
Newcastle and Brighton are among the Premier League’s season-opening teams. Of course, success was expected from the “forty” after the purchase of the club by the Saudi sheikhs. But few expected such a rapid increase. Brighton have been playing some great football this season, first under Graham Potter and then under Roberto De Zerbi. The clubs’ tournament position adds intrigue to the upcoming match. Newcastle need to protect themselves from relegation to the top 4, and Brighton need to try and hold on to fifth place. One thing is certain: in the next meeting, the Seagulls will have the support of Liverpool fans and players, who hope to enter the Champions League.

⚽️ 10:00 p.m.: Sevilla – Juventus, Europa League semifinals, second leg
Intrigue: another Europa League final for Sevilla?
Sevilla is the queen of the Europa League/UEFA Cup. The Andalusians have won the tournament six times, the best result among all the clubs. The team is good in the LE even in seasons when not everything is going well in the championship. Juventus is having an uneven season: fighting for a top Champions League spot in Serie A, it flew out of the Coppa Italia. The only way to please the fans is to win the Europa League. The first game showed that it would be difficult to do so. Sevilla could have snatched victory from Turin, but Juve defender Federico Gatti gave the team hope in stoppage time. In the second leg in Spain, those from Turint will have a hard time. Can Juve reach the European Cup final for the first time in six years or will Sevilla go for another Europa League trophy?

⚽️ 22:00: Bayer 04 – Rome, Europa League semi-final, second leg
Mystery: Will José Mourinho reach the European Cup final for the second year in a row?
The first match between Roma and Bayer Leverkusen in the Europa League semi-finals turned out to be downright boring. The meeting did not indulge in a large number of moments, the only goal was scored by a 20-year-old student of the Romans – Edoardo Bove. Leverkusen manager Xabi Alonso has to figure out how to create danger for Roma’s goal in the second leg. And José Mourinho gets the lineup that suits him best: play number two and try to catch the opponent on counterattacks. The price of victory for the Portuguese is high. Mourinho can win the second European Cup in two years. Previously, he managed to do something similar with Porto – the team won the UEFA Cup-2002/2003, and then the Champions League-2003/2004. Now the situation can be repeated with Roma: last year the Special helped the Romans win the Conference League. Keeping fingers crossed for Jose?

⚽️ 10:00 p.m.: AZ Alkmaar vs West Ham United, Conference League semi-finals, second leg
Intrigue: Are West Ham to their first European trophy since 1999?
Initially, the Conference League was called a tournament for middle peasants, in which there is almost no intrigue. But the teams are really fighting for the trophy! Which is just the semi-final between West Ham and AZ. In the first game in London, the guests opened the scoring at the end of the first half. But in the second 45 minutes, West Ham made a real heap at the gates of AZ, scoring twice. Now Londoners are going to visit in the state a favorite. But it just won’t. If West Ham still survives, they will compete for the first European Cup since 1999. The team then won the now abolished Intertoto Cup. And AZ has never won in the European arena. The only good chance is to reach the final of the UEFA Cup – 1980/1981. Now, a new opportunity to write history.
