The transfer window will close in a month. Therefore, RPL clubs are still active in the market. Last week there were significant transitions both “towards the exit” and within the market.
Fedor Chalov: CSKA → PAOK (3 million euros)

The striker finally fulfilled his dream and moved to the European Championship. Yes, some expected him to be in the top league, but there were probably no offers. Therefore, a three-year contract was signed with the Greek PAOK, and Chalov will have the opportunity to make his debut immediately in the third qualifying round of the Champions League, where the team will play against Malmo. CSKA was also not left without compensation – the Russian club will receive 3 million euros for the transfer.

Zelimkhan Bakaev: Zenit → Khimki (loan)

The former Spartak midfielder never found a place in St. Petersburg. Almost a year ago he went on loan to the United Arab Emirates, returned in the summer and, without any official matches this season, left for Khimki. In the Moscow region he will surely get much more playing time and perhaps be able to return to his pre-Zenit level. Interestingly, the player’s contract with the reigning champions expires next year. Therefore, he has a good chance to prove himself against Zenit or go to a more reputable club as a free agent.
Daniil Lesovoy: Dynamo → AEL (loan)

The once great RPL talent continues his loan journey. He spent the first part of the year in Israel and is now heading to Cyprus. According to the agent, this decision was made, among other things, because Daniil wants to be close to his family. But also to play football, of course. Although this has worsened in recent years. Lesovoy’s contract with Dynamo is valid until the summer of 2026, but the lease agreement does not entail a purchase option. Therefore, next summer the club may have to make a more radical decision regarding the player’s future.
Tomás Galdames: Godoy Cruz → Wings of the Soviets (650 thousand €)

In Samara, after a disastrous start, they finally realized: without investments, everything will be completely sad. Therefore, the first signing for which money was paid was the Chilean defender Galdámez. In terms of functionality, he duplicates the position of Gorshkov, who moved to St. Petersburg, so he will definitely help the team. In addition, he can play in the center of defense, which is also important in the current situation. Igor Osinkin can finally feel a little calmer. And still end a series of defeats.

Dzhemal Tabidze: Panetolikos → Dynamo (Makhachkala) (free agent)

The Georgian defender is returning to the RPL. He first came here in 2017, when he moved on loan from Gent to the Urals. Then he spent five seasons in Ufa and again left for Europe. Things didn’t go so well there. And after a short stint in Greece, Tabidze moved to Dynamo Makhachkala. With his experience, he will definitely help the league debutant to play even better in defense.
Edgardo Fariña: Independent La Chorrera → Khimki (free agent)

The Moscow region club is very active in the transfer market and confirms its ambitions not to be relegated. The new signing represents the signing of the main defender of the Panama national team, who will arrive at the club’s headquarters, precisely, from the Copa America, where he played 90 minutes in all matches. Fariña is only 22 years old and in 2024 he was crowned champion of Guatemala. It is not the worst record of breaking into the RPL. With Rubin he played the second half and even scored the team’s second goal in Kazan.
Marquinhos: Ferencvaros → Spartak (5 million euros)
Another pass for Dejan Stankovic: Spartak, however, intercepted Marquinhos from Lokomotiv. Moreover, it was the new coach of Atletico who convinced him to make this decision. The Brazilian changed his mind several times, but he still turns to the coach, whom he knows very well from his career in Hungary. He also worked with Stanislav Cherchesov.
In the last Hungarian championship, Marquinhos was third in the club in scoring, scoring seven goals and providing seven assists in 27 matches. And here are some more statistics: the Brazilian became by far the best in accurate passes in the opposing third of the field (408) and in fouls committed (61), second in passes under attack (73), created goal-scoring chances (12), dribbles (52) and wins duels (158), enters the top 3 in shots on goal (26).
