Spartak sent an appeal to the FTC RFU regarding Sobolev’s suspension for four matches

Date: March 3, 2024 Time: 19:27:16

Spartak sent a letter of complaint to the RFU Disciplinary and Control Committee due to a four-match suspension of team striker Alexander Sobolev. This is reported by “Sport-Express” with reference to the press service of the RFU.

It should be noted that in the game on matchday 28 of the Russian championship, the rojiblanco footballer made an obscene gesture at CSKA defender Willian Roche, for which he was suspended for four games.

If the disqualification of the striker from the Moscow club is not canceled, the player will miss the first two rounds of the RPL in the 2023/2024 season.

We add that according to the results of the last draw for the Russian championship, Spartak took third place in the standings, and therefore won RPL silver.
