Spartak striker Quincy Promes has been officially recognized as a suspect in a drug trafficking case. The Dutch public prosecutor’s office brought the 31-year-old footballer to justice. It is reported by Het Parool.
According to the source, the local authorities accuse the rojiblanco striker of importing two shipments of drugs with a total weight of 1,370 kg in January 2020. It is reported that prohibited substances were found in the port of Antwerp, the player’s involvement in the case was learned from the player’s telephone conversation. In this way, the Dutch striker hoped to settle the debt with drug dealer Pete Wortel.
