While everyone admires Manchester United’s form, Borussia Dortmund is undeservedly deprived of the spotlight. The Germans, after the 2022 World Cup, maintain the super series of 9 winning games. And precisely victorious, and not only not lost.
And this is not to say that the “bumblebees” were just lucky with the schedule. They beat Bayer (2:1), Freiburg (5:1), Chelsea (1:0) and other very, very strong opponents. Thanks to long-term successful results, as well as Bayern’s mistakes, Dortmund caught up with the points leader, losing to Munich only on goal difference.

Leipzig was also in the lead for some time, but there was a slight decline, so the club fell back to fourth place. The bitterest defeat is against Unión (1:2), which sensationally continues to hold its own in the top three. But already in the next meetings, RB beat direct competitors: first, Wolfsburg was defeated – 3:0, and then Eintracht – 2:1.
The Bulls have put themselves in a difficult situation. If they lose in the next game and Freiburg scores three points, RB will be out of the Champions League zone.
