The second dreams of becoming a sorceress, but fails Yaga again and again.
The peace is interrupted by the wizard Severin, who has visions of approaching evil. To avoid trouble, sorcerers create a talisman in Belogorye that envelops the entire area. However, after a couple of disagreements, Severin decides that the locals are not worthy of protection and starts a war. Important heroes are sent to oblivion and the fate of the entire world is in the hands of Marya and Sophia.

Unfortunately, the plot of “Legacy” is about as uneven as it gets. Take, for example, the conflict with Severin, which occurred so irregularly that one wanted to exclaim: “Why are you fighting?” The heroes just roll up their sleeves out of nowhere and fly into the fray.
This is strange, considering the venerable creators are responsible for the series. Director Anton Maslov filmed “Vampires of the Middle Zone” and “Hotel Eleon”, where there were no serious problems of logic. The script was written by the authors of “Cheburashka”, “Ride” and “Two Hills”; The events there also developed quite adequately. However, in ‘Legacies’ the team seems to be in a hurry, although eight-hour long episodes remain.
The alternative, that is, our reality, on the other hand, could have been shortened. There, the series becomes a sitcom, where Sophia flees from the police and shows a magic mirror, which the young people mistake for an “embarrassing phone.” The scenes are fun, but unimportant to the plot; It would be better to spend time on the clear development of the conflict.

But the production of “Heritage” is beyond praise. As an example, I will give you a fight with Severin’s henchmen, where the heroes do pirouettes and hit monsters with pretty girls’ braids, and the cameraman starts filming in one go. Longshot came out so juicy you’ll want to watch it again.
Or a conflict with Nightingale the Robber. In this universe, the villain not only whistles, but also stops time, turning a simple scene into an epic for fans of Quicksilver from the X-Men. And don’t forget about the pranks of the brutal Kolobok, the funny love spells of Baba Yaga and the clumsiness of Vodyanoy, eager to talk about Marya’s pranks.
They came up with their own gimmick for almost every scene, be it a comical scuffle, a fight or a petty dialogue. I would like to praise the film crew for such work. And you can forgive even the flaws of the main plot.

This is the most beautiful Russian series.
However, the main advantage of “Legacy” is the images. There are many outdoor shoots here that will make you admire the beauty of the Elbrus region. Decorations built with obsessive attention to detail. The costumes are absolutely charming. Severin’s chain mail, Sophia’s hunting outfit, Baba Yaga’s rags – it is difficult to imagine how long it took to complete such an elaboration.
I would especially like to highlight the graphics, which are undeservedly considered a weakness of our cinema. If you have the budget and the time, our specialists will do everything perfectly. “The Heir” was quite expensive and took four years to film. As a result, the graphics are excellent and even the numerous fully animated characters cannot be faulted.
