The application for a personalized fan card (Fan ID) to attend matches of the Russian Premier League (RPL) can be submitted from July 4 on the portal of public services. This was reported by the Ministry of Digital Development, Communications and Mass Communication.

“The card can be issued electronically on a personal account in public services,” the message says.

Deputy Director of the Ministry of Digital Transformation Oleg Pak said that the fan card is issued once through public services and remains in the personal account. “It is used when buying tickets and subscriptions, which will automatically appear in your personal account in a special section,” he said.

According to him, at the entrance to the stadium it will be enough to scan the QR code of the ticket selected for public services, without presenting any additional document.

The Ministry of Digital Development noted that the system would not allow a card to be issued to a person who, for example, was banned from attending competitions by the court due to their involvement in riots.

How to apply for a fan card:

To do this, from July 4, in your personal account in public services, fill out a questionnaire and upload your photo. Citizens over the age of 14 can apply on their own. For those under 14 years of age, their parents or legal representatives can issue a card on their personal account. After submitting the request, the identity of the cardholder must be verified. This can be done at the MFC in 11 regions where RPL matches are held: Moscow, St. Petersburg, Sverdlovsk, Samara, Nizhny Novgorod, Rostov, Moscow, Orenburg and Voronezh regions, Krasnodar Territory and Chechnya. Upon contacting the MFC, center employees will verify the photo uploaded when filling out the utility application and confirm the identity of the cardholder. When you visit the MFC, you must have a passport with you. If the card was issued to a child, you must have a birth certificate with you.

As reported in the RPL, in the first half of the season, fan cards will be required to attend matches at five stadiums. We are talking about the Yekaterinburg Arena, Nizhny Novgorod, Rostov Arena, Solidarity Samara Arena and Fisht stadiums, where the Ural, Pari Nizhny Novgorod, Rostov, Krylya Sovetov and Sochi stadiums are located, respectively. All of these stadiums hosted the 2018 World Cup matches where the Fan ID system was used.

The RPL noted that the remaining stadiums will be connected to the project in the second part of the season. The new season kicks off on July 15 with a match between Khimki and reigning Russian champions Zenit. The match will take place at the stadium of the Moscow Region club, starting at 20:00 Moscow time.
