Friends, hello everyone! The new round, already the fourth, of the RPL starts on Friday. Today, August 9th, we have two matches to look forward to.
First up are Pari NN and Khimki (start at 18:30 Moscow time). Ilic’s team would have been the worst in the championship if it weren’t for the scandalous match against Dynamo Makhachkala, where Nizhny was lucky enough to get the win thanks to a controversial penalty. Now we have to play another newcomer – Khimki. This opponent seems much more confident and usually lives at the top of the table. What will happen?
And then at 20:45 Moscow time, Rostov and Rubin will start. Karpin’s team took four points at the start, but in the last round they settled for 0:5 in St. Petersburg. However, a loss to a champion who has gained great form is unlikely to affect the club’s ambitions. Rubin started with a victory and then lost twice, so they need points.
