The Serbian team defeated Montenegro in the first leg of the qualifying round for the 2024 European Championship. The match, held in Podgorica, ended with the score 2:0.
The goal was scored by Juventus forward Dusan Vlahovic, who scored in the 78th and 96th minutes.
Thus, the Serbs achieved their second victory at the start of the selection. Previously, Dragan Stojkovic’s charges turned out to be stronger than those of Lithuania (2:0).
As for Montenegro, Miodrag Radulovic’s team beat Bulgaria (1:0) in the first qualifying match.
On June 20, Serbia will face Bulgaria on the road, with Montenegro hosting Hungary three days earlier.
