Spartak defender Alexis Duarte spoke about whether the salary issue influenced his transition to the Moscow team.
It should be noted that before the transfer to the rojiblancos squad, the Paraguayan footballer had an offer from the Boca Juniors club.
– The question of salary is natural and normal. This argument cannot be dismissed. But for me, the transition to Spartak was a challenge. I am interested in trying myself out of South America. I am a young soccer player and, at this age, it is easier to do it than, say, in a few years, Sport-Express quotes Duarte.
Let’s remember that in January 2023, Spartak paid the Paraguayan Cerro Porteño four million euros for the transfer of Duarte. The player himself signed a contract with the RPL team for four and a half years.
This season, the defender has played eight rojiblancos games without scoring.
