The “Wings” have surpassed “Spartak” and CSKA in the table! But we lost two players at the same time.

Roman Ezhov and Vladimir Khubulov were wounded and the legionnaire gave the victory to the Samara team in Voronezh.

Krylia Sovetov remains at the top of the table. This time the Samara team successfully played in Voronezh.

“Fakel” came into the game on a nasty three-game losing streak. It is curious that the Voronezh club’s results worsened after Sergei Tashuev renewed his contract. “Wings” arrived in Voronezh after a disappointing defeat in Kaliningrad (1-2). The visitors equalized the score in added time, but managed to concede in the final seconds. However, “Wings”’s position on the chart is much nicer than “Fakel’s”.

The first match of the day took place in Yekaterinburg:

“Ural” is about to take off?

The main event of the first half was the injuries of two Krylia Sovetov players at once. First Roman Ezhov and then Vladimir Khubulov left the field. They both hurt the back of their thighs. And all this in six minutes! Igor Osinkin can only sympathize, because the number of injuries in his team is simply off the charts. And then he also lost two players in the 25th minute.

“Fakel” imposed its football on the rival, which was uncomfortable for the “Wings” game. A lot of fight, coordination, a minimum of free spaces and scoring chances. Yes, the opponents took 11 shots between them in the first half, but how many of them were dangerous? I remember Fernando Costanza’s header after a corner kick, Belenov took care of it. And at the end of the half, Igor Yurganov unsheathed his “cannon” – the ball went over the top nine.

Immediately after the break the third forced change took place. This time Fakel forward Evgeniy Markov was injured (he played only three minutes after the break). In the second half, the Wings completely lost the counterplay. In such a close match, the only things you could count on were set pieces and long shots. Maxim Vitiugov shot from 30 meters into the far corner, but Alexander Belenov deflected the ball into a corner.

But literally a minute later, “Wings” still scored. By the way, the goal was scored by the players that Osinkin released in the first half instead of the injured ones. Vladislav Shitov crossed well into the area and Franco Orozco (height – 168 cm) headed the ball into the far corner. This is the Argentine’s first goal after moving to Russia (in the winter transfer window he moved to the Wings).

In the end both were able to score, but the goalkeepers played excellently. Ivan Lomaev saved Krylia after a long-range shot by Irakli Kvekveskiri, and Belenov deprived Amar Rakhmanovich of the goal. The referee added seven minutes to regulation time, Belenov ran towards the opponent’s goal to take a corner, but the spectators saw no more goals.

Thanks to this victory, Krylia rose to fifth place in the table. At the moment Osinkin’s team has more points than Spartak and CSKA. It is true that a head-to-head match still awaits them. And “Fakel” lost for the fourth time in a row.
