Russian figure skating coach Eteri Tutberidze was unable to comment on her daughter Diana Davis’ debut for the Georgia national team.
Recall that earlier the athlete and her partner Gleb Smolkin played for the Russian team. The skaters made their debut under the Georgia flag at the Ice Dance International in Lake Placid.
“I did not watch the performance, because there is no broadcast there. Therefore, I will not comment on anything,” Match TV quoted Tutberidze as saying.
After the rhythmic dance, Davis and Smolkin take second place. They have 74.35 points. The first place is occupied by the Americans Una Brown/Gage Brown, who scored 75.26 points.
