In the first game of the regular season, the Greens lost to Salavat Yulaev (3-5). The first goal for Ak Bars was scored by Alexander Barabanov and Nick Petan, from San Jose. As for the Canadian, he also scored two assists. Both forwards formed the top three with Dmitry Yashkin.
