Which RPL coach will be fired first?

Several specialists are threatened at the same time.
The RPL returns after an international break for national team matches, but after the resumption of the season it has already lost one of its coaches. In addition, it is very difficult to understand the logic of the dismissal of Vladimir Ivich from Krasnodar: a couple of failures did not eliminate the club from the championship race.
In Ivic’s homeland they are outraged by his dismissal:
“Sergei Galitsky – Russian Evil Doctor”. In Serbia there is outrage over Ivic’s dismissal
Meanwhile, talk of resignations of other specialists is not without foundation. Which one will be eliminated first? And will they remove it completely? It’s definitely not up to us to decide, but let’s vote.
The rating depends entirely on the votes of the “Championship” readers and is formed online.
If you want to move an option up in the list, press the up arrow “↑”, if you think the option should be lower, press the down arrow “↓”.
Important: The “Ranking” functionality works only in the standard version of the “Championship”. If you came to this material through a search query, you will only see the generated list without voting buttons.

Guillermo Abascal, Spartak
There has been talk of Guillermo Abascal’s unsuitability for Spartak since the moment of his appointment, and it occurred a year and a half ago. During this time, the Spaniard was never convinced of the need for it. Third place last season was a good intermediate result, but this year it will be difficult to even be in the top five. The team made a great trip to St. Petersburg and did not make any progress there, but against Fakel it turned out to be completely useless (0:2). And this is not the first time this has happened.
In the era of the impulsive Leonid Fedun, such a foreigner would have been expelled long ago. The current red and white leadership is much more patient, and that’s fine. But throughout the season, Spartak had two terrible streaks in the RPL: three losses and a draw in August-September, as well as one victory in five matches in October-November. Does it make sense to wait for another one, which is also coming? Maybe the time for change has come after all?

Sergey Ignashevich, Baltica
The legendary footballer is still far from achieving a similar status as a coach. He brought Baltika to the RPL, but he is not convincing here. The Baltic countries have not won in the Premier League since October 7: after that there were nine games. Yes, the composition of the team is far from that of Zenit, but the same “Fakel” and “Paris NN” are similar in class and perform much more confidently. The Kaliningraders haven’t scored in eight straight games! You just can’t blame bad luck here.
After a well-deserved defeat against Orenburg (0-1), Ignashevich said that it turns out that Baltika was noticeably better and that the penalty for clear handball was false. Apparently, the Balts are happy with their football. But the Kaliningraders are already five points away from reaching the transition zone. The situation is not yet critical: there is a third of the road ahead. Is it worth going over it with your current coach? There are doubts.

Victor Goncharenko, Ural
The Yekaterinburg team had an excellent start to the season: 13 points in five games and a well-deserved first place on a par with Krasnodar. And suddenly the team collapsed: one (!) victory and three draws in 15 games. Nobody allows more goals to Ural in the RPL (33 goals) – the Bumblebees’ chaotic play in defense is disappointing, regardless of the number of defenders on the field. And now the team is already in the zone of transition matches.
Urals coach Grigory Ivanov states that he fully trusts the coach: “Goncharenko will work and correct the situation. He sees all the team’s problems and he knows what needs to be done.” But this is now. What if the winless streak increases and the situation becomes critical? This deal will definitely not be a miracle. The eternal savior of the Urals, Alexander Tarkhanov, is probably not against the next call-up.

Miroslav Romashchenko, Akhmat
In my opinion, Romashchenko should not be on this list. But we discussed it for a long time in the editorial office and decided to include it here as well. Still, “Akhmat” near the zone of transitional parties is an unusual phenomenon. From mid-September to early December, the Grozny team never won (nine games, three draws) and looked lackluster. But Stanislav Cherchesov’s former assistant took charge of the team during the championship. And when I worked with her in the off-season, the progress became noticeable.
“Akhmat”, even in the minority, fought and had chances in the match against “Dynamo” (0:2), defeated “Ural” (1:0) and advanced to the “Volgar” Cup (2:1). Furthermore, in December they beat Spartak (2-1). And yet, the play-off zone is only one point away and the team’s schedule is not easy: then there are the trips to Kazan and CSKA, as well as the meeting with Lokomotiv. Some failures and a possible dismissal – to shake up the players and stay in the RPL.

Someone else
The Russian Premier League knows how to surprise. Just remember how Goncharenko himself from Kuban, Valery Karpin from Spartak, Slavolub Muslin and Yuri Krasnozhan from Lokomotiv were unexpectedly eliminated. Maybe something similar will happen again this season? The same Loko in the spring lost to Dynamo (1-2), could not cope with Sochi (2-2) and Baltika in the Russian Cup (1-1, 6-7 pen.). The club has a long-term strategy and is in many ways related to Mikhail Galaktionov. But if he doesn’t get more wins, management will have questions for him.
Other coaches’ positions seem even stronger. However, this does not at all mean that they will definitely last in the RPL longer than Abascal and other heroes in our rating.
