In the Amur Bay in Vladivostok, during the VIII Eastern Economic Forum, a parade of sails will take place, a series of regattas with the participation of training tall ships, sailing yachts of international and domestic classes, foreign teams and high-level guests. The event will take place from September 9 to 13.
“The celebration of the candle parade traditionally occupies a special place in the cultural and sports program of the Eastern Economic Forum. One of the main objectives of his holding is to train young people in the maritime and sailing field: more than 1,000 young sailors and sailors will participate in the regattas.
I am sure that the candle parade will contribute to the development of children’s sports, will have a positive impact on the tourism industry of the Far East, and a wide range of foreign guests will further develop relations with the countries of the region based on the principles of good neighborliness and mutual respect”, commented the adviser to the president of the Russian Federation, responsible for the candle parade, and secretary of the organizing committee for the preparation and celebration of the WEF, Anton Kobiakov.
A children’s and youth sailing regatta will take place on the first day of the event, as well as the final leg of the Far East Cup international sailing regatta.
On the second day there will be a keel yacht sailing regatta, as well as the continuation of the Far East Cup program. In addition, there will be a parade of training tall ships.
On September 11, the start of the Roscongress Cup regatta will take place, which will last two days. On September 12, the stage of the Far Eastern Cup begins from Vladivostok to Qingdao.
The last day the winners and winners of the contest will be delivered.
The VIII Eastern Economic Forum will be held on the campus of the Far Eastern Federal University in Vladivostok from September 10 to 13.
