A new Brazilian arrived at Dynamo and Anton Miranchuk founded a new Club.
RPL clubs are strengthening their squads and there is very little time left before the transfer window closes (it will close abruptly on September 12). There were not many deals last week, but each one involved the best RPL clubs.
Previous RPL Transfer Summary:
Zenit spent 22 million euros, newcomers to the RPL took foreign players. RPL transfers of the week
Arthur Gomez: Cruzeiro → Dynamo (5 million euros)

The blue and whites made their most expensive purchase of the transfer window. They had previously added Moroccan Olympic player El-Mehdi Mauhoub to their squad. The transfer cost Dynamo 1.7 million euros, but they had to pay three times as much for winger Gomez. Previously, the 26-year-old had played exclusively in Portuguese-speaking countries (Brazil, Portugal). Gomez played for Cruzeiro for just over a year; he moved to the club in the summer of 2023. Arthur made 59 appearances for the Brazilian club, scoring eight goals and providing five assists. Dynamo was successful with the transfer of Bitello. What will happen to Gomez?
What kind of newcomer did Dynamo buy?
A new Brazilian has arrived at Dynamo. He scored one of the best goals of the season in the Champions League
Ivan Sergeev: Zenit → Wings of the Soviets (2 million euros)

The striker returned to Samara two and a half years later. During this time, Sergeev won seven trophies. He won the RPL three times, the Russian Super Cup three times, and the National Cup once. This season, Sergeev played only 20 minutes in the championship. It is unlikely that the situation would have changed for the better, because Zenit had previously arranged the transfers of strikers Luciano Gondu and Alexander Sobolev. The competition increased even more and Sergeev decided to return to Samara. The “wings” have problems with the attack, because the team scores on average less than one goal per game in the RPL. In St. Petersburg, Sergeev often played the role of a wild card, but in Samara he is probably destined for a role in the starting lineup.
Why did Ivan return to Samara?
Sergeev is a brilliant joker. But Zenit never accepted him
Robert Renan: Zenit → Al-Shabab (loaned for 3 million euros)

The Brazilian was on loan at Internacional in his home country. A few days ago, reports surfaced that the club had suspended the player. What is the reason? Renan expressed his desire to go to Saudi Arabia, where he was probably promised more money. After a while, Zenit announced the player’s departure to Al-Shabab (on loan until the end of this season). The player’s loan to Internacional enriched the Russian club with 1.5 million euros and Renan’s temporary departure to Saudi Arabia with 3 million euros. Al-Shabab is now in tenth place in the championship, although only two games have been played there. I wonder where Robert will be at the end of the season.
Mario Mitai: Lokomotiv → Al-Ittihad (loaned for 1.2 million euros)

Another transfer of the defender from the best club in the RPL to the Saudi Arabian championship. In the summer, Mitai took part in Euro 2024, where he was the main player of the Albanian national team. True, this did not help him to establish himself in the starting line-up of Lokomotiv. At the beginning of the season, the Albanian played only 10 minutes in the RPL. But he came on the field in all matches of the Russian Cup. Now Mitai will try himself in the same team with Karim Benzema and N’Golo Kanté. Al-Ittihad failed last season, but this year they started the championship with two victories.
Edgar Sevikyan: Ferencvaros → Lokomotiv (rent for €200 thousand)

After returning to his home club, Sevikyan admitted that he had dreamed of playing for Lokomotiv since childhood. Edgar had a good first half of last season, after which he left Russia. The player of the Armenian national team from Paris NN moved to Ferencvaros. However, Sevikyan did not stay long in Hungary. The railway workers leased the player until the end of the season with the right to buy him back later. In Hungary, Sevikyan played 17 matches, scored two goals and provided one assist. Will the statistics be better at Lokomotiv?

Anton Miranchuk: Lokomotiv → Sion (free agent)

Another Russian footballer has left for Europe. Miranchuk’s previous place of work was Lokomotiv, which he left at the end of last season due to the expiration of his contract. Now Anton has the opportunity to prove himself at the European Championship, although not at the leader’s. The president of the Swiss club, Christian Constantin, praised the Russian footballer highly. He called Anton a player with traits of Van Basten and Zidane. Miranchuk signed a two-year contract, his salary will be 1.2 million euros and his compensation will be 5.5 million euros. Miranchuk had options with Zenit and Strasbourg. Anton did not want to move to St. Petersburg and the French club chose another player.

This transfer has not yet been officially confirmed, however, it seems that the transfer will be announced in the near future. Earlier, the defender’s agent reported that his client would fly to Moscow on September 9. If the deal is finalized, Montes will become the second Mexican in the history of the RPL. The first is Luis Chavez from Dynamo Moscow. Montes, 27, has extensive experience playing for the national team (48 matches). In recent matches he takes the field with the captain’s armband. Until 2023, Cesar played in his home league and then left for Espanyol. A year ago, Almeria bought him for 14 million euros.
