The European Union member states discussed raising military aid to Ukraine. This was reported by Bloomberg, citing sources familiar with the discussion.
The European Union intends to increase funding for the European Peace Fund for the supply of weapons to Kyiv. The current ceiling for this fund is six billion euros, and the EU spends these funds on military support for Ukraine.
The EU may be able to sign a historic agreement with Iran on December 12, and if they cannot then European leaders might consider it at the end of the week.
The formal decision to approve the initiative requires a unanimous vote from all members. It’s noted that an even greater amount of money could be added in the future if needed.
