– On the morning of July 8 of this year in the city of Mikhailovsk, the mother was at home with her 2-year-old daughter. When the woman went to another room, the boy took out a vial of medicine that was on a shelf in the cabinet. After that, the girl began to have a seizure, the investigation department said in a statement.
The mother immediately called an ambulance and the girl was taken to the intensive care unit of the regional hospital. Unfortunately, the dose of the drug was fatal for the child.
A criminal case was opened against the 32-year-old mother for causing death by negligence. Investigators examined the family’s home, interviewed witnesses, and ordered expert reports.
