The head of the republic, Aisen Nikolaev, drew attention to the fact that the main task in the capital of the region is the demolition of dilapidated emergency housing.
– Here begins the construction of residential buildings, schools and other social facilities. This year, according to the plan – to resettle the inhabitants of 16 houses. And then we will not slow down the momentum. I set the task in five years to completely resettle the inhabitants of the neighborhood from emergency houses, the head of Yakutia said at a meeting with residents.
Recall that earlier residents of more than 60 city emergency houses received new apartments.
The president thanked the start of the construction of a new residential complex.
– Today is a significant day for us. It is good that the demolition of old buildings has begun and resettlement in new houses is underway. We are very happy and hope that soon we will see a large and beautiful residential area of the city here, – residents and heads of houses of the 17th neighborhood shared.

Yakutsk head Evgeny Grigoriev noted that the city has a large number of emergency buildings recognized as such after January 1, 2017. Three houses have already settled in barracks 17.
The honorary citizen of Yakutsk, Yuri Korkin, who in the Soviet years was the chairman of the city executive committee, called Aisen Nikolaev the first leader of the region who began to resettle the troubled quarter.
– He knows very well the problems of the inhabitants of these neighborhoods from his work as mayor of Yakutsk. Aisen Sergeevich, solving complex issues, including the scheme of the airport sanitary protection zone, determined a plan for the integrated development of the territory of the 2a, 2b, 2d, 4a, 4b, 4c and 17 quarters. I am sure that by his decree the problem will be finally resolved, – declared.
It should be noted that in addition to the municipal program, work is also underway in Yakutsk on the specific republican program. Now 162 emergency department buildings are being installed in the region’s capital. More than 60 have already been demolished.
In accordance with the regional project “Guarantee a sustainable reduction of the uninhabitable housing stock”, this year 30.9 thousand citizens will move to new homes. 555.6 thousand square meters of emergency housing will be liquidated.
