Nirvana will release 53 unpublished songs

Date: October 18, 2024 Time: 14:48:40

The American rock band Nirvana will release 53 unreleased songs. They stated that they will present new material for the 30th anniversary of the album In Utero. Loud Wire reports this in reference to the band’s musicians.

The songs will be released alongside reissued tracks from the band’s six-time platinum third album. The launch will take place on October 27. It will include recordings from two previously unreleased Nirvana concerts: in Los Angeles in 1993 and in Seattle in 1994. The band will also release six live songs recorded in Rome, Springfield and New York.

Producer and engineer Jack Endino worked on the recordings that will be included on the release. He reconstructed tracks from tapes for reissue. The musician worked with Nirvana on their debut album Bleach in 1988. “In Utero” was also reissued by Bob Weston of Chicago Mastering Services.

Some of the options will include a 48-page book of Nirvana photographs, a 20-page fanzine, a lithograph of the Los Angeles tour poster by artist Coop, a copy of a 1993 commercial, concert flyers and tickets for concerts.

Let us remember that last year Nirvana and The Supremes received a Grammy for their special contribution to music. The awards ceremony took place in Los Angeles on February 4. We talk about it in more detail here.
